Training & Logistics Manager
Alan was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He has been interested in the Hospitality Business his entire life. He began his hospitality career as a bus-boy for Romanello’s South and has been hooked ever since. He has worked several positions in restaurants and hotels while attending Buffalo State College for Hospitality Administration. He graduated in 2003 with a scholarship from The Statler Foundation. Upon graduation he relocated to Atlanta, GA where he took a position with Scholtzsky’s Deli as an Assistant Manager and Traveling Manager. In 2007, Alan moved to Raleigh, NC to take a position with Panera Bread. Alan began as an Assistant Manager and was promoted to General Manager after nine months with the company. He was GM over three different locations during his tenure. During that time he was instrumental in increasing catering volume and overall sales at the Triangle Plaza and Witherspoon Locations. In 2012, Alan came to work as a Delivery Driver with Catering Works. He has been promoted to Training Manager in 2015, and now oversees Training, Hiring, and Event Logistics. Alan has a knack for being able to provide logistical input in relation to ensuring efficiency during an event. In his spare time Alan enjoys the outdoors, be it Hiking, Kayaking, Fishing, etc. He currently spends his days with his lovely wife Meredith and their dog Arley.
