 Cinderella was a perfect choice, because everything in that story leads up to the ball, one of the grandest special events that could be planned. The whole dress concept in our exhibit is very Cinderella – the mice that were the whimsical element in the story were also in our display!

Part of our inspiration was Disney's The Frog Princess. The transformation of the table, or transformation of the dress into the table could be seen as evoking the same feeling of changing one’s appearance to a more glamorous state.

 We took inspiration from Disney's Tangled--we loved how her hair was so crazy and long! The table itself incorporated the dress and the handbag, as a celebration of hair as a feminine attribute.
