State Floral Competition Winner!

We are so excited to share that Joseph Barnes of Catering Works has won the NC State Florists Association award for best centerpiece.  The competition was held in Greensboro on August 14th at the Embassy Suites. 

The most talented designers and florists of the state come together annually to attend the NCSFA Convention, to learn the latest trends in design, network with industry partners, and compete in this annual contest.

Joseph's category was the Centerpiece design, and he won FIRST PLACE. The contestants were given a budget of $75 or less.  Joseph decided to create an earthy design, incorporating bright summer colors and a wooden container with cool modern lines.  We are always amazed at his creations, so this award didn't come as a surprise.
