The Experience Makes The Meal: Our Holiday Food and Spirits Tasting

Posted to: Events by Lorin Laxton on Oct 2, 2012
They say the way to a person's heart is through their stomach. While we agree, we want to make more than just our guests tummies happy! Surprise your friends and family by making your meal an experience!

Last Wednesday night, we were delighted to host a party of our close friends, co-workers, clients and soon-to-be newly weds for an intimate holiday-themed wine and food tasting.

Filled with visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads, our guests were treated to a full spread of entrees, appetizers, wine and signature cocktails! With all our festive decorations, it was easy to be swept up in the moment. Flowing snow-laced drapes, sparkling jingle bell centerpieces and freshly cut calla lilies strewn amongst powdered snow filled our event was filled with glee. With friends and family engaged in joyous conversation, it felt just like a holiday dinner!

As unique as each snowflake, every guest had his or her own personal experience. One young couple, Kenneth and Dana, embraced the opportunity to sample the food, gathering each item from the menu, tasting and discussing the dishes one by one. Thrilled by the occasion, they said, “We weren't expecting this. It's very well put together and feels like a reception!” The couple was pleased with the attention to detail because it “helped [them] see what [their] own reception could look like!” Embracing the moment, Heather beamed as she exclaimed, “It's wonderful, isn't it?”

Guided by our mission to exceed expectation, we embrace the opportunity to treat our friends and clients. We adored the time we were able to spend with our guests and were thrilled that they enjoyed the evening.

We believe in helping you create the entire experience. Rather than tell you how we’d do it, let us show you! We’d love to work with you in planning your holiday event!
