A Modern, Eclectic, and Elegant Space
Posted to: Events by Lorin Laxton on Jul 19, 2012The beautiful and non-traditional architecture of the American Institute for Architects’ (AIA) building has garnered much talk around Raleigh. It’s beautiful wood and sturdy stone look over Peace College’s tranquil tree lined campus, and the picturesque gateway gaze toward downtown Raleigh.
During the week, this building is full of brilliant architects and exhibits discussing sustainable architecture. However, unlike conventional office space, these rooms are not empty once the weekend comes, but are open to host your next party or event!
On June 27th, AIA partnered with The Knot to host a bridal show featuring caterers, rental companies, photographers, cake bakers, and many more vendors! We were honored to be a part of this event and loved showcasing our cakes, menus, and florals in this innovative and green space.
The Center for Architectural Design (CfAD), was made for the modern bride. They have a variety of packages to suit everyone’s needs and can host over 550 people indoors and out. Not only is its innovative design perfect for the nontraditional couple, but its use of local materials and emphasis on sustainability will pull on the heartstrings of any environmentalist.
This space is not limited to wedding receptions, however. Located in the heart of the North Carolina Government Complex, AIA is the perfect location for legislative and corporate events! With a catering prep room, tables and chairs on site, easy access and parking, AIA covers the minor details to alleviate worry for the event planner!
In a nut-shell, CfAD is the ideal choice for your next event. Check out their website and see how they can serve you!
